Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne is an Hollywood actress, author and bestseller novelist. Her talents have won her recognition across the world. Sagittarius. The actress was born on the coast of North Carolina December 3, 1960. She's one of the three children of Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a parachutist. She is of English-Scottish descent. Moore moved frequently with her family due to the job that her dad was employed in. This was a challenge to keep or meet new friends. When her family moved to Germany Moore attended Frankfurt American High School where she began appearing in productions. In 1990 her first appearance as an actress in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. In the following years, she said it was a low budget film. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. It was critically acclaimed, and Moore received multiple nominations. Her first lead role came as a lead actress in Safe (1995). The casting of Steven Spielberg's Moore in Jurassic Park: The Lost World, one of the highest grossing films from 1997, marked a major turning point for Moore's career. In 1999, she appeared in the critically acclaimed Magnolia and was awarded an SAG nomination for her performance.
